The following question was asked by a customer:

"I had a business listed I was using as a test. I clicked “Unapprove Listing”. Now how do I find it to edit it or get it back?"

Solution:

If you are logged into your site as Administrator, on the listing page you should see a dropdown box below the listings.

There you can toggle between approved, unapproved, and both.

From this dropdown menu select both.

Your unapproved listings should now be available in your list.

If you do not see this dropdown box:

  1. Go to Configure Xmod Module menu
  2. On the data Settings tab you will see a filtering section
  3. Make sure that Show Approval Filter is checked
  4. Save Changes

Another method Administrators use to manage listings:

  1. Set up a new page on your site
  2. Allow only Administrator and the security roles that are allowed to moderate listings access to this page
  3. Add a new instance of XMod
  4. On the action menu go to Configure Xmod Module and use the same form and templates that you are using on your Business Directory page
  5. On the Configure Xmod Module >> Data Settings >> Filtering >> Default Approval Filter select Un-Approved Records Only
  6. Save Changes

When complete you can now view all unapproved listings.
