I've installed xmod and review it but didn't buy the fatgeorge upload control and i didn't install it. If i want to add a new item i'll get the folowing error:

A critical error has occurred.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Is it mandatory to buy the fatgeorge upload control?

Yes,

The FileUpload control manages all of the image uploads.

I've bought the control and installed it. Now Review IT works and after 10 minutes of experimenting i can conclude that this module is amazing. Beside this I think you should be more specific about the file upload requirement. I didn't saw anything about the need for this third party components, so maybe you should emphasize this requirements.
