  • BD 6.1
  • Inquiry form never worked, so re-created from scratch (I already have about 20 listings in the directory).
  • Now, inquiry form pops up, but uses old TABID value (so it pulls in nothing)

How do I force the system to use the new TABID? I've updated the Multi-Categories Form entry from TABID="67" to TABID="70" but everything still points to the old ones. When I look at the business directory listing (http://www.t-netters.org/BusinessDirectory.aspx) all the "Make Inquiry" buttons still point to "67".

I have tested that the correct form is on 70 per the instructions. I've gone into the admin panel as host and restarted the application in an attempt to flush any caching of the application, but can think of nothing else as this time.

Any clues?

Hi Rob,

After you made your form change did you update your listings?

As in most database driven applications, your listing data has already been saved to the database prior to your form change.

Any form change will require a edit/update of the listings to take affect.

There is a hard code procedure that you can use on your list view and detail view template.

first, open your template code using the Plain Text editor and safely back up the existing code to NotePad.

While editing your templates using the XMod plain text editor or NotePad, perform a serch for the following:

Note: arrows have been replaced with brackets to allow code to show in this forum post.

tabid=[xmod:field name="IFTabID1"/]

Simply change this portion of the template code to:

tabid=70
