DNN Professor applications are written for XMod. Unlike conventional DNN modules, with XMod you can modify the form and template code and create your own child modules to suite your business needs.

This gives you tremendous flexibility to customize your application that you just don't have with a compiled DNN module.

Here are some links that may be of help to you:

FatGeorge is a fellow XMod MVP and we work very closely with his XMod add-ons and DNN Professor applications to offer a comprehensive business model for your website needs.

In regards to SEO, when you click the more info button, on the majority of our applications, if you look at the browser title you will see that the detail page grabs the Company name and the listing title fields as the page title, the short description becomes the page description, and the search tags from the listing become the keywords.

If your are a SEO fanatic, like me,  you eventually hit a wall that is known as the Dark Web when trying to cull a data driven detail from a database application.

Xmod uses the same page as the listing page to show the details.

In this article, FatGeorge has an application that can create a RSS feed from your detail pages. And guess what? Google and the major search engines can utilize it!

Enjoy,
Buck
